Today is the 26th and that means two things are happening today. First up is... *jajaaaann~~* It's Ohno Satoshi's birthday! Yay! Happy birthday LEADER! Hope you have lots of precious time for yourself today.

Second thing is... *jajaaaaaann~~~* Posting of fics will start in a while. We are still waiting for a few stories from the authors, but worry not. No one dropped out this year and everyone did their jobs well. Let's give our authors a round of applause please. :D We'll start the matsuri with three posts a day until everything is up.

Please remember to leave a comment on the fics, especially for the ones written for you. Your writer did their best for your gift fic and they will definitely want to know what you think about their work.

Check your email everyone! Because this morning I got my state of the art hotel key (assignments) delivered to my inbox!

Reminder: Please keep your assignments secret! It's supposed to be a surprise for your recipient! Even I do not know the assignments besides my own.

(Technically I can check, but I'll leave that as a 'in case an apocalypse happens and I'm the only mod left alive' kinda thing. No need to add more work for myself ne?) 

If you have any problems, any clarifications to make with your recipient etc... Please let us know at fishingmj.mod@gmail.com! We will contact your recipient for you and so that we can keep the secrecy!

In the meantime, please enjoy your time on Fishing Paradise! I hope your hotel rooms are comfortable. And remember there's loads of activities for you to do here! 

1) Join Ohno and his daily fishing expedition. Boat leaves every other day at 6am in the morning.
2) Jun holds concert brainstorming and producing sessions in Boardroom J. Check the notice board in the lobby for more details.
3) Sho is in the newsroom, and can also been seen doing NewsFishing reports all over Fishing Paradise.
4) Nino is stuck in the gaming room... Free feel to join him there!
5) Aiba is having fun cooking and mixing drinks in the kitchen and bar.... And always looking out for taste testers. (I would personally advice against trying anything Aiba makes though...)

So erm yes, whether you choose to write in the comfort of your room or brainstorm for ideas elsewhere... I hope you'll enjoy yourself and have fun!

Howdy everyone! Yes, I'm purposely not posting this with the mod account.

It's me. I'm here. And so are my other mods. The rest magically came to life when we got enough sign ups. Like literally! Lol! So they will be doing the matching, sending out the emails with the keys to your resort. I know some of you might afraid that I'm the only mod running this and if I'd go MIA. Yeah... I know, I've been in two exchanges that's gone MIA, and who can predict the future right? So I'm here to assure you that in total we have four mods in four different countries and two different continents. There has to be some sort of global event going on (alien invasion? Arashi kicking up a global storm and causing worldwide internet outage?) or some sort of really bad coincidence for the exchange to not go on.

In other words, sit back and relax. And oh just buckle up that seat belt because the flight will be taking off shortly. Drinks will be served after we reach cruising altitude and on my birthday, I mean on 25th of Sept, you'll receive your hotel keys as well as any additional information my fellow mods see fit to include to help you during your stay.

Woohoo! We managed to send the assignments out a day earlier (in one of your mods' timezone anyways~). YAY!

If for any reason we missed you, please PM or EMAIL US ASAP!!

Anyways, here are the rules again if you forgot:

1. Fics must be Ohno or Jun-centric. The main pairing or friendship (or one of the main pairings/friendships) must involve either Jun and/or Ohno. Drama pairings and Jun/Non-Arashi or Ohno/Non-Arashi pairings are allowed!
2. Fics must be at least 1,000 words. Any more than that is always welcomed! :D
3. Fics must be beta read. If you don’t have anyone to beta read for you, please let us know in advance so that we can find a beta reader for you!
4. Don't post your fic before reveals are up.
5. Keep your recipient a secret!!! It’s meant to be a SURPRISE!!!!
6. Write in good, readable English.
7. Include all of your HTML tags when you submit your fic.
8. Please try your best to write what your recipient requested for!
9. Lastly, be nice and have fun!!!
