Summary: Jun really likes his job as an interior designer. He does not like his boss that much though, who seems to enjoy giving his subordinate a hard time at work. One night, Jun ends up drunk on the streets, unable to find his way home. When an adorable stranger picks him up and takes him with him to a shop called the "Mayoppan", a new chapter in Jun's life is about to begin and things slowly but surely start to change.

A/N: Dear lapetit_chou2. I almost instantly came up with this idea when I read your sign-up and I truly hope that I managed to come up with something that fits your expectations. As the title suggests, it might be no surprise when I say that the setting is inspired by one of my favourite J-doramas of the same title. Other note, "Mayoppan" is a pun on the Japanese words "mayonaka" (midnight) and "pan" (bread). I really enjoyed writing this and hope you'll enjoy reading it. Thanks as always to my betas!
